Mina Johnson is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a graduate of Columbia University Medical Center. She is a clinical instructor affiliated with NYU Langone Hospital and NYU School of Medicine. She works as an attending at Bellevue Hospital Center in NYC where she manages the emergency Behavioral Response Team for the civilian psychiatric inpatient units and forensic psychiatric inpatient units.

Her research interests include the integration of holistic, evidence-based complimentary alternative medicine into standard psychiatric practices. She is also currently involved in the research and development of sustainable bio-psychosocial interventions for people with chronic psychotic disorders.
